I began working with the Bitcoin Blockchain back in 2010 after reading the white paper and having had access to the Source Code since 2009. I ran my first mining rig on an old server that my then employer, a DC metro area financial firm had given me to test and build on since I had developed their entire system and architecture from the ground up.

Having contributed code to projects such as WordPress with my earliest plugins dating back to 2005 and developing in the early days of the Facebook (now Meta), Twitter and Google Apps (after hacking a gmail account and turning it into what I called an online thumb drive, a year before the launch of Google Drive) and now, with more than 20 years experience as a CTO in multiple Washington, DC metro area companies, in starting, owning and running technology businesses, web development businesses and web 3 firms and currently involved at some level with more than 20 projects, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that is on the level of an “insider” in this industry for the financial world.
Crypto was a fun side hobby for years as I committed code and wrote contracts for Ethereum, Tron, Bitcoin as well as many other lesser known projects and even built, coded and launched a few of my own Bitcoin compatible and Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible blockchains, myself. Now, it is something that has offered me a whole new life with my family. My wife Lori and three kiddos are a large reason I went head long into the Web 3 world, since my involvement in projects and investments have allowed me to be with them and live differently as a very present husband and dad. I want to help others experience that life as well.
My undergraduate degree is from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and I have a Masters as well.

After 15 years of technology work around the nation’s capital, I found myself owning a company that would allow me to live anywhere in the world while taking care of my clients at this time in many different states remotely. We call the beaches of Orange Beach, Alabama home and you may see me doing some of my development work and research from a beach chair, toes in sand listening to my children laugh and play while my wife soaks up all the sun in Alabama.

Now, with more than 20 years of experience in technology spanning IT Directorships and as CTO in Washington, DC metro area financial, law & accounting firms leading to starting my own Washington, DC based IT company, Web 2.0 Development company and now a Web 3.0 Development company, I have a history of running into fires.
​
Whether it has been rolling back ransomware and stopping hackers in a system, restoring entire companies data systems after RAID failures or managing multi-state mergers and acquisitions for companies, I have been called on many times to come in and fix what others have broken.
